tip 11: Login problems

 

It's undesirable to receive a message like the following : "your account has been blocked for security reasons"  just after the login. That's why you should read the following tips about how to log successfully in your Centregold account.

In order to open your account, you have to pass by the login form by clicking on the following link :  https://centregold.com/Account/index.php

if you forgot your password

Then enter in your email address (not your Centregold id :  something like CGxxxxx) and your password and click "Login".

In case you can't remember your password, then you just need to click on the link "Forgot your Password?" shown in the picture above.

After that, a new password will be sent to your email address automatically. So you have to wait for that new password to arrive at your mail box as it may, in a rare case though, take time to arrive.

If, after entering the right username and password, you receive a message stating that "your account has been blocked by the administrator due to security risks" then you have to answer the following question: what wrong have you done? 

We'd like to remind you that our system won't allow one person to have several Centregold accounts; the same for a repetitive phone verification failure, wrong or incomplete information entered in your profile page,

The account blocking is mostly a system decision based on recent suspicious behaviors.

It's also possible that your account has been blocked "by you" or according to your request. This is the case, for instance, if you clicked on the "close account" menu. We strongly recommend you to not close your account as it is free and you may still need it in the future. However if you've already closed it then you have to explain the reason why you've done so.

If, after following this guide, you still have a login problem then we suggest you to try with another browser (firefox, internet explorer ... ), clear your caches, enable java; and, as a last resort, contact us by sending a message to the following email address :  support@centregold.ca

Do not forget to include in that message the answer to your secret question because we do need that to verify who is making that request.
