tip 10: Account maintenance
Here is how to maintain your account at Centregold. In order to keep it working and secure, we invite you to observe the following simple instructions.
We can assure you that our website is very safe as everything there is SSL crypted. However you still have to follow some guidelines about how to behave in general and how to manage your passwords.
In case you have a login problem, we show you clearly here what to do (see also the next post).
- Keep everything up to date :
We invite you to check the information at your profile page at Centregold and make any necessary updates. This applies to your phone number, address, card info, LR account name ....

- Change often your passwords :
Whenever you are worrying about something abnormal about the security of your account, we advise you to change your passwords immediately, to prevent other persons from using your computer, to not login into your accounts from an internet café or other public computers, to inform your bank about any unauthorized charges.
It's best if you can do that for both your Centregold account, Liberty Reserve account, online Bank account, Email account ... .
You should be very careful also when typing passwords in order to avoid keyloggers and make an effort to try to create complex passwords including a combination of letters, digits, uppercase, and special characters such as & , @ , ( , ~, ° ....
It is up to you to create those passwords yourself as they are personal and confidential.
- Remove viruses and trojans :
We suggest you check your computer for viruses or trojans on a weekly or monthly basis; and make sure that your computer (operating system and browser) is up to date and is constantly protected by a firewall and a good antivirus.
- Do not use a VPN :
