Order processing timeframe

Generally, the 6-48 hours timeframe is not for first-time orders. Those orders are slower to process due to legal obligations concerning KYC & AML regulations. In other words, the law requires us to “know you” before doing business with you.

Moreover, security measures are important as we’re involved in a risky business, due to too much fraud on the internet. So we have to do our due diligence to avoid trouble, by starting an expensive and usually time-consuming one-time verification procedure for new customers.

And finally, it’s one of our priorities at Centregold to protect our customers from fraudsters, by rejecting third-party orders and requiring a signed authorization form for credit card orders (more details are here).

So we advise you make an order using your own account, email, computer, telephone and card; to not hide your real identity, location and IP address; to be careful when filling in the various forms during the order creation process (amount, CVV, expiry date, SWIFT code, ....).; and to provide the right information in your Centregold profile page (name, phone number, street address, LR account name & number, ....).-  so that we can easily and quickly verify your order.

Besides, we’ll limit the maximum amount allowed for your first orders. There are daily limits (explained here) and monthly limits too (please read more here). If you really need a higher limit, you can send a request to increase your limits along with a copy of your passport to cg@centregold.ca  .

Besides order verification, there are also delays due to business hours, our partners and the fact that we don't verify documents on weekends, we process only orders which do not require documents (ie from already verified accounts).
