tip 9 : The Verifications
Sometimes, while making our best to finalize your order, we have no other option but to proceed on verifications by requiring some ids. That's a quite common practice nowadays in order to fight fraudsters using cards for online purchases.
We hope you'll understand this necessity of the financial market and expect some collaboration from you too. It may take a while - and will delay your order - but it's generally a one-time procedure.
Usually we need your Photo ID:
A copy of your Photo ID such as Driver's License, or Passport, or State ID, or Military ID, or Student ID, or Medical Insurance Card or other forms of identification written in latin characters (english, french, .... - not in chinese).
However it's best to provide your International Passport for a faster verification, as it is easier to run through database check.
In case you receive an email asking for such a document, we expect you to send it by fax, or scan it and send the picture by email as attachment. Please make it as clear and readable as possible, to help us speed up the verification process.
So you have to check often your mail boxes. Sometimes it may fall into spam or junk boxes too because we send many emails a day.
If you do not find a scanner, you still can take a picture of the document using a camera or a smartphone, and send the picture by e-mail. Just use a compression software to "zip" it so that it fall in a reasonable size (less than 2 megabytes) and won't be rejected by our mail server.
Don't worry about these documents. We'll keep them secret, just necessary to verify your order as we can't do otherwise. We have a very strict and strong privacy policy here, which does not allow us to share customer information with anyone, except by request of law enforcement agencies or courts. In Canada, private information is well protected so you don't have to worry about the safety of your documents at all.
In a rare case, we may also ask for other documents such as utility bill or card statement; or even send a verification letter by ordinary mail (postal) in order to verify your physical address. Just follow the instructions in that letter containing a confirmation code. This is necessary to confirm that you indeed reside at the given profile address.
In fact, we're dealing on a high-risk business as digital currencies aren't refundable. We really want to process orders very fast but sometimes we simply can't do so. We must make some verifications before finalizing a transaction.
In one word, your Liberty Reserve or Pecunix account (on your name - exactly spelled) should only be funded by you (your physical address, your IP address, your phone number) using your own card (your billing address, CVV, authorization...).
All these measures are for your security as we try to not allow someone else access your account or use your card.
